Books For Christmas?

Hello out there....

Anyone reading this?

If you are, I just wanted to say that I'll be doing a Books for Christmas giveway soon.

It's been a long time since I posted anything on the blog, and even longer since I've done a giveaway. Books are wonderful any time of year, but why not at Christmas time?

The giveaway will be international. I'm planning to gift a Kindle book to 5 people, on Christmas eve, to follow in a great Icelandic tradition I read about, where people are given a book that night and take it to bed with them to read.

If you don't have a Kindle, that's okay. You will still be able to read the book on your computer, or download a free app to read it on your phone or any type of tablet you have.

I'll put that giveaway together soon and share it sometime in the beginning of December.

Sounds awesome! I'm so ready for Christmas, lol. I'm one of the people who don't mind hearing Christmas music the day after Halloween even though if a stranger asked me, I'd probably deny it. :D

Truly great giveaway idea. =) Books are a great thing to receive for Christmas in my opinion, and I always tell family and friends that if you can't get me one then give me gift cards for me to get my own.

That sounds like a really nice tradition. I love reading books in bed!

@Jennifer: Whats your favorite Christmas song?

@totiltwithwindmills: I agree, books are a great gift idea.

@Becca: I love reading books in bed too, that's my favorite reading spot.

I have a ton! But I'll only list a couple, or at least I'll try to limit myself, lol. No Doubt's "Oi to the World" is great as is The Dandy Warhols' version of "The Little Drummer Boy." And it wouldn't be Christmas without Elvis. :D

Awesome choices in Little Drummer Boy and Elvis. I've never heard "Oi to the world" so I'll have to check it out.
